	>> Aug 2008 Ticket Design wins the prestigious Business World NID Award 2008 for Design Excellence for two of its product designs, Divinet Multiplay Device and Messung NG2KPlus an industrial computer (PLC). These products have been ranked as one of the best Indian Product designs of 2008 from entries received from all over India. In the picture Mr Pradyumna Vyas, Jury member, Mr Anand Mahindra, Jury Chairman, Balkrishna Mahajan and Nishma Pandit from Ticket Design The multiplay device has received this recognition for its user centered industrial design, simple icon based interfaces and an evolved sense of aesthetics whereas the NG2KPLUS developed for automation major Messung, has won for its clean, clutter free and safe design. Mr Anand Mahindra, MD of Mahindra and Mahindra, and the Chairman of the jury remarked that the design solutions were simple yet refined solutions. He also commented that these products were fine examples of design referring to Ticket Design as design missionaries taking design across the industries. Read more here>> >> June 2008 Balkrishna Mahajan was invited to speak at the inaugural design and innovation workshop during launch of Innocell, an industrial design innovation cell. This is a joint initiative by Pune Design Foundation and MCCIA Mahratta Chamber of Commerce, Pune. The Inaugural event was a workshop targeted at the Electronics Industry, held at the International Convention Center ICC towers, Pune. Eero Miettinen, Group Design Director of Nokia Design, Balkrishna Mahajan of Ticket Design and Pankaj Sapkal of Short path conducted the workshop. The workshop was held during the second Pune Design Festival 2007 >> Nov 2007 Ticket team completes a working prototype of a new design for a Finnish company in a record time of one month for launch at an exhibition in China. The product has been a showstealer and orders coming in. >> July 07 International Young Design Entrepreneur of the Year (IYDEY) Award 2007 Balkrishna Mahajan has been shortlisted among top five for International Young Design Entrepreneur of the Year (IYDEY) Award 2007 from India. IYDEY Award has been instituted by British Council. It showcases successful and promising design entrepreneurs from select countries across the world and presents them with the opportunity
