A one day design vision workshop was organised for the industry under the aegis of Pune Design foundation. Eero Miettinen, Group Design Director of Nokia Design, Balkrishna Mahajan of Ticket Design and Pankaj Sapkal of Short path conducted the workshop. The workshop was held during the second Pune Design Festival 2007

Ticket team completes a working prototype of a new design for a Finnish company in a record time of one month for launch at an exhibition in China. The product has been a showstealer and orders coming in.

International Young Design Entrepreneur of the Year (IYDEY) Award 2007

Balkrishna Mahajan has been shortlisted among top five for International Young Design Entrepreneur of the Year (IYDEY) Award 2007 from India. IYDEY Award has been instituted by British Council. It showcases successful and promising design entrepreneurs from select countries across the world and presents them with the opportunity to network with each other, familiarise themselves with the UK design sector, showcase their work at 100% Design and win the IYDEY Award.

The award, in its third year, seeks to identify and nurture the next generation of leaders in the Indian design sector by linking them with the UK at a key stage in their development. Read more here

Ticket Design has been awarded a Silver at the 20th International Appliance Design Excellence in Design Award 2007 USA. The judges noted that winners demonstrated that they are serious about industrial design and showed their seriousness by attention to detail and an innovative approach that sharply differentiated its product from competitors. India's top company and one of the top 10 Asia Pacific companies, Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has launched its multi-play service, offering Internet Protocol TV (IPTV) and video-on-demand (VOD) to its broadband customers in Pune along with MKCL (Maharashtra Knowledge Corporation Ltd.) and Divinet Access Technologies. Industrial Design and engineering for IPTV consumer electronic product was done by Ticket Design.

Balkrishna Mahajan, Co -Founder Ticket Design visits UK as a part of CII Design Mission to UK

coinciding with the London Design Festival 2006 CII (Confederation of Indian Industries) is playing

an active role taking the cause of Indian Design forward as the world is waking up to India.

This mission was an effort to expose Indian industry to the Design facilities and practices being

followed by the industry & design houses in UK. In the process also understand how Design has

been promoted and developed in that particular country, foster business partnerships between

This product has been designed for intensive care units of hospitals / clinics. A unique
product

monitoring parameters like, blood oxygen level, blood pressure, ecg, respiration all in a single

product. Its a first of its kind product launched in India. The design challenge lay in packaging

the product as a integrated portable compact solution. Its the most compact product in

its category in the market. Compaction was achieved by intelligent packaging and considering

the user- desirable size for this product. Also significant was the emphasis was on design

for ease of assembly and testing.
